It’s the end of July and summer is really starting to heat up. I am sure your vegetable and flower gardens are in full swing! Are you growing marigolds this year? Did you know they are edible? Maybe you’ve dabbled with one here or there in a salad, but here is another way to enjoy this vibrant orange bloom!

Marigold Orange Ginger Water

Toss a handful of marigold blossoms, one sliced orange, and a few chunks of ginger in a pitcher of water and chill. Serve with a meal prepared with fresh veggies from your garden! This mix can be replenished for about two days before you should freshen up the fruit and flowers.

Bug Free Tip: If you think your marigolds might have a few bugs on them, submerge them in a bowl of water prior to making up your pitcher. Any little nasties will detach and float away!
