Stuffed Dream Peppers – A sweet twist on the classic jalapeño popper
Some like it hot, but if you are more of a sweet and mild pepper person this recipe is for you!
Core the peppers and slice lengthwise. Remove the seeds, but don’t worry if you miss a few; Burpee’s Lemon Dream & Tangerine Dream peppers are sweet and mild! Lay out the peppers inside side up and spread about a teaspoon of cream cheese on the inside. Beat a couple of eggs in a bowl and add a splash of milk. Quickly dip peppers in the egg mixture and coat with bread crumbs. Lay the peppers out on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes or until breadcrumbs look golden brown. Enjoy this sweet treat!
