Growing a Greener World in L.A.: Urban homesteading episode
Joe Lamp’l  Executive Producer and Host | Growing a Greener World

We’d like to share some photos with you from a recent location shoot!

The cast and crew of "Growing a Greener World" were in L.A. to film an episode on urban homesteading in Theresa Loe’s home garden. (There she is below with a cameraman in her car!)

Urban homesteading is the practice of growing and producing your own food, home crafts from the garden including sachets and soaps, and food preservation such as canning and freezing.

In the same episode, Patti Moreno (below) showed us how to plant tomatoes upside-down for small-space gardening, and we’re pleased to be using all Burpee Home Gardens plants.

It is with big thanks to our friends and underwriters at Burpee Home Gardens that we are able to bring this show to you on public television!

Thanks for watching!
