Every gardener knows it's important to stay hydrated. Jazzing up a plain pitcher of water with your garden harvest is a great way to show guests what you've accomplished all season! Enjoy flavoring your water with many edibles - from fruit and veggies to herbs and flowers. Here's a great recipe combining lemons and lovely lavender.

1 lemon (sliced)
A few sprigs of fresh lavender

Toss the lavender sprigs and sliced lemon into a pitcher of water and chill in the refrigerator. The lemon and lavender can be used a few times by just refilling your pitcher for about two days.

Options: If lavender isn't your cup of tea, try basil, sage or lemon balm. They're just as tasty!
