When the summer heats up, it's time for a refreshing drink. And what better way to enjoy the outdoors than by harvesting some homegrown flowers to use in a tasty drink recipe? Like Marigolds. Bet you didn't know they were edible! Besides fresh in salads, here's another way to enjoy this vibrant orange bloom.

A handful of Marigold blossoms
1 sliced orange
A few chunks of fresh ginger

First clean the Marigold blossoms by submerging them in a bowl of water. This will cause any possible bugs or dirt to detach and float away. Toss the handful of cleaned blossoms, plus the sliced orange and ginger chunks into a pitcher of water and chill. This mix can be replenished for about two days before you should freshen up the fruit and flowers.
