Waterford garden prep is underway
Waterford Alternative High School 2011 "I Can Grow" Youth Garden Award Winner
We’re happy to report that the Waterford School District’s Community Garden is well underway. The garden path has been designed and installed (see the video of our progress below) and if it ever stops raining in Michigan, the garden beds will be installed!
We are extremely excited to participate in media day on Monday, May 23, at noon. The Waterford Alternative High School students have been anticipating the arrival of spring and are ready to start planting! Check out our website at www.waterford.k12.mi.us/garden. ~ Rhonda Lessel, Specialist
